The Blue Cape on The Great Wall

A naturalistic monument dedicated to the inhabitants of Beijing
characterized by 12 artists of the city

LING FEI, LI XIAO FENG, WU YANG, JIA YONG-GUANG, CHEN XUE-GANG



We are invited by the curator Benoit Coze and Laetitia Gauden of The Imagine Gallery to take this long journey from New York to perform with The Cape in Beijing.
For this action, we choose to go together to The Great Wall. After filming and taking
the first pictures of my live monument, I ask the artists to use The Cape the way they want. And transported by them, my Blue Cape starts running on The Great Wall...
The Blue Cape transformed itself into a lifelike representation of Beijing's artists.
